The story of The Inn at Millstone begins in 1933 when the Stoddard family came to these secluded bluffs and realized there was no more beautiful place to build their summer home. So that's what they did right here, some 3,500 feet above the ordinary in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains.
Since those early days, the property has changed hands a few times. Luckily, each owner has worked to preserve and protect its natural beauty. In 1987, the property was purchased and renamed The Millstone Inn. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, AIG Baker has restored the property to its full glory to bring you The Inn at Millstone.
The Inn at Millstone offers an extraordinary rustic elegance with a beautiful grace that was woven by nature's hand.
Walk along the Chattooga River that borders the property, and explore any of our pristine nature trails. Go fishing, birdwatching, hiking, or relax with a cool drink in front of the breathtaking view. Regardless of your outdoor hobby, The Inn at Millstone is your destination for ultimate R&R.
