Founder and Principal
Cam Mills is the founder and principal of Millstone Strategies. With a background in community relations, government, and grassroots leadership, Cam brings a rare mix of political insight, coalition-building, and relationship-driven strategy to every client he serves.

Cam began his public service career working for Congressman Dan Bishop, gaining early exposure to federal policy, constituent needs, and the inner workings of district-level engagement. He later joined Mountaire Farms Corporation — one of the world’s largest poultry and agribusiness companies — where he served as Community Relations Manager, leading local partnerships, charitable initiatives, and public-facing strategy across North Carolina. His work at Mountaire gave him a front-row seat to North Carolina’s #1 industry: agriculture, and how it connects deeply to the state’s economy, workforce, and communities.

Cam went on to serve as a senior aide to Congressman Richard Hudson, the highest-ranking Republican in U.S. House history from North Carolina. As Hudson’s right hand in the district, Cam worked closely with elected officials, key stakeholders, and community leaders, managing strategic outreach and helping drive high-impact initiatives throughout central North Carolina.​

In addition to his government service, Cam has worked on and helped run numerous local and congressional campaigns, building winning operations through messaging, field strategy, and grassroots engagement.

Cam currently serves as the National Committeeman for the North Carolina Federation of Young Republicans, and sits on the national board of the Young Republican National Federation, helping shape the future of conservative leadership across the country. He is also the founder of the Randolph Young Republicans and an active member of the Asheboro Rotary Club, where he continues to serve his community locally.

A former college football player at Wingate University, where he studied Sport Management, Cam also worked at a small business incubator during college — an experience that sparked his entrepreneurial drive. That passion ultimately led him to launch both Millstone Strategies and Old North Group LLC, with a mission to support and strengthen the people, institutions, and ideas shaping North Carolina’s future.
